This notice explains how personal data collected through dampfixhull.co.uk is used, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, postcode or area, type of property, a description of the problem and, if you choose, your email address and photos. You send these through the survey form, by phone or on WhatsApp. With each request we also record the page you came from and any advertising campaign parameters that brought you to the site (for example utm or gclid).
- Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and where you came from. We only collect this if you accept analytics cookies.
We don't ask for special category data. Please don't include health information or other sensitive details in your message.
3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

We don't send marketing messages unless you've agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- LeadConnector / HighLevel Inc.: the provider of our customer management system and survey form, acting as our processor.
- Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads): only if you accept analytics and advertising cookies.
- WhatsApp / Meta: only if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms.
- HUMIX surveyors and installers who need your details to visit the property.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact if no work goes ahead. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as needed to provide the service and any guarantee, and for at least six years to meet tax and accounting rules.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it's used, receive it in a portable format and, where we rely on consent, withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.
